Haverhill Council To Consider Ward Hill Housing And Battery Storage Zoning

City councilors are set to take up two zoning items at their Tuesday evening meeting in Haverhill, WHAV reports. The items have drawn attention locally because they concern housing in Ward Hill and a potential site for battery energy storage systems.

Two weeks ago the Haverhill Planning Board recommended that the City Council revise the zoning ordinance to establish a Special Permit Planned Development District. The council will consider that recommendation at its meeting; if the council approves the proposed amendment, it would create the Special Permit Planned Development District outlined by the Planning Board.
