Addiction Awareness Presentation Scheduled at North Andover High School

North Andover News reports a free community event on addiction awareness will take place September 22 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the North Andover High School auditorium. The evening follows a separate talk the keynote speaker, North Andover resident Anthony Sideri, will give to high school students earlier that day.

Sideri plans to speak about his experiences with substance use and recovery and to describe his path to sobriety. Organizers say the program is intended to prompt conversations about prevention, recovery and local supports. Police and Fire Department representatives, other guest presenters and community groups are expected to attend. Informational tables, a question-and-answer segment and options for private follow-up conversations will be available.
